Monday 19th June was the start of our Healthy Theme Week, a busy but fun week covering different aspects of how to keep ourselves healthy:

Monday : An introduction to Healthy Week , plus Tai Chi / Katana workshops

"On Monday afternoon we did Katana with Ron. He showed us how to use swords, they weren't real swords as they were made of foam! We learnt lots of moves, it is a type of Japanese exercise. I enjoyed it,"  by Charlotte Pickering.

Tuesday: How to have a healthy body eg. safety in the sun, drinking water, the importance of sleep and dental hygiene.

"Emily came in the afternoon. She is training to be a Dentist and she showed us all how to brush our teeth properly," by Eleanor Isherwood.

Wednesday: Exercise day - Exercise and Relaxation workshops in the morning, multi-skills sports in the afternoon.

"On Wednesday morning Holly came in to do some stretching and relaxing. It helps to wake up your body and it was fun. It was about being kind to yourself, your friends and the planet,"  by Freddie Elias

Thursday: Health and happiness- how to have a healthy mind through singing, prayer and spirituality
